On Saturday, March 25th, Bologna was the epicenter of celebration. NVP Bandido Sandro1%er had invited to party hard due to his 20-Years-Anniversary as a Bandido. From nearly all European countries, where the Club is represented, guests have been arrived to congratulate and strengthen Brotherhood by an old school jamboree.
The first “party animals” started to besiege the Clubhouse as early as Thursday. The hospitality was warm, the weather already summery, the drinks well chilled and plentiful, the bar team perfectly attuned, the music conducive to the atmosphere – the rest was provided by the joy of the Brothers to meet their peers from all over Europe. Of course, the guests have been offered culinary delights, and in that regard the cakes, artfully decorated with Club insignia were a tasteful and aesthetic highlight.
The highl spot for the host was, without any question, the presentation of the Anniversary patches. NVP Bandido Sandro1%er has been part of the red and gold family for a total of 22 years. He started in the Mescaleros MC Support Club in Enna, of which he became President, before they started as a Prospect Chapter. Impressed and emotionally touched by that festivity he said: “After 20 years, I saw many members going in and out of the Club, many beloved Brothers dying – nevertheless, the Club has been evolving. With that knowledge and experience, with heartfelt conviction, I can say we are in the best motorcycle Brotherhood of the world.”
Besides NVP Bandido Sandro1%er, that outstanding evening was as well a special event for three other Brothers. Bandido Miky was happy to achieve Probationary status, and Bandido Nino1%er from Sicily received his Nomad Frontpatch. However, Bandido Nomad Lennart1%er from Denmark, who has been loyal to the Club for a quarter of a century, received a special applause when he recieved the 25-Years-Anniversary-Patch. He exemplifies that the slogan Love, Loyalty and Respect is not just a phrase but a practised daily routine in Bandidos life. The celebrations were given special weight as the badges were presented by NPE Mike Kok1%er.
